Total War: Warhammer was officially announced with the debut trailer

The Creative Assembly has officially announced a new game called Total War: Warhammer. As it became known, developers have released the debut trailer for the project.

Last year the developers hinted about the existence of a joint project with the company Games Workshop. However, an official confirmation of the existence of a branch of the popular series of real-time strategy in the universe of Warhammer took place only recently.

The new game will be a mixture of turn-based strategy with tactical battles in real time. The orcs, goblins, gnomes and other inhabitants of the universe will serve as gaming nations. Players will be able to join one of the many factions, starting with the Empire and ending with vampires.

Together with a new game developers have announced their plans to release two extensions which will add new content to the game. The game Total War: Warhammer will be a trilogy, and at the same time the largest branch of the series.
